Who We Are
OUR CHURCH COMMUNITY
At St Andrew's United Free Church, we are a fellowship of people who trust in and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Our main meeting in the week is on Sunday at 11 a.m.. There is a Sunday School for children of Primary school age. After the service, tea and coffee are served in the hall behind. Everyone is welcome to come along and find out more.
This term we are using a DVD series called
Living Christianity to discover what it means to live as a Christian in today's world.
Following Christ transforms all aspects of our lives.
Jesus is Lord in our family life, when we are at work, and in our responsibilities as citizens.
Life Explored is a new 7-week course for people who are thinking about the Christian faith, or who are just pondering life's big questions. We try to run this course regularly. If you would be interested, let us know and we can contact you about the time.
Prayer is a vital part of all Church life.
We meet in the Church Hall once a month to pray for our church, our community and our world.
FAMILY FUN EVENINGS
Once a month on a Friday evening from 6.00 - 7.30 p.m. we have an evening of fun and games in the Church Hall. Activities are appropriate for children in P.3 and upwards and we encourage adult family members to come along too. Food is at the heart of all we do here as well as discovering God's big story together.
Next date: Friday 29th November
We'll be crafting decorations for the tree and making fruity smoothies too!
